Foo Fighters Documentary and Live show
April 7th, 2011 by Mike QuilliamSo the other day I got tickets to the Foo Fighters Documentary which said their was to be a live show afterwards so I thought heck $20 for a cool documentary and a show I’m in. After purchasing the tickets I looked a little closer into the details of this buy and came to notice that the live show all across the country was the same date and that it wasn’t a live show so to speak but a live stream of the band playing somewhere else. Oh well, the documentary was really cool with alot of insight into the band and where it came from. My only issue was that it was playing on Fuse TV 2 days later for free. I think I got hoodwinked. The photos here are from my iphone with my 3D glasses in front of them.
Zombie Art
January 17th, 2011 by Mike QuilliamOn Saturday night I attended a lovely art show at the Art Supply Warehouse in Westminster, CA. The theme of the show was Zombies in Orange County which meant that all the pieces that were featured had to have an Orange County theme to them which was pretty cool to see. The artist’s incorporated a variety of iconic OC landmarks including Disneyland, No Doubt, the lovely OC freeways and one of the artist’s actually included Octomom whom I dont know is from Orange County.

November 8th, 2010 by Mike QuilliamMy friend Heidi sent me this picture of her son challenging his stomach to a fat burger. I don’t know if he actually finished this monster but he looks serious so I’m sure he didn’t wave the white flag on this challenge. That burger is almost as big as his head.

November 8th, 2010 by Mike QuilliamI just finished 3rd in the Nellscott Reef Big Wave world tour contest up in Oregon.
We had 50ft waves and optimal clean conditions for the event. I’m currently ranked 1st place on the Big Wave world tour.
My next event will be up in Half Moon Bay at the famous big wave surf spot “Mavericks”. The waiting period begins Dec 1. The tour will finish in feb at “Todos Santos”. With 2 events left and a big lead in points I’m sitting pretty for a Big wave world title. I wanted to say thank you for believing in my dream!

Its been a Dirty Summer

I’ve told them to send over pictures from the road but since they are continuously on the highway I think its a little hard. Heres a little bit of life on the road with the Dirty Heads.
