Farwell ASR

Farwell ASR

November 4th, 2010 by Mike Quilliam

Tuesday was a very strange day. We heard the news that Andy Irons passed away which was such a tragedy and then to add to that we got news that ASR had called it quits. Atwater launched at ASR Holiday 2006 and had done every show since then and have created quite a good relationship with the staff over there throughout the years. We are really bummed that after 29 years this show that has been a platform for so many of us has had too shut down. Thanks to Dan, Paul and Leanne and everybody over there for all your support over the last 5 years.

Atwater brings Lefty’s back again for round 2

Atwater brings Lefty’s back again for round 2

August 17th, 2010 by Mike Quilliam

For the second show in a row Atwater has brought Lefty’s Barber Shop to the floor at ASR and for the second show in a row the barber shop has been slammed with people some of which waited over an hour in our lounge to get in the chair. Atwaters Brent Ferris brought his A game with him and busted out 2 days by himself and man did he work and the last day he had some relief from our boy AJ Henley who took the reigns on Sunday. we actually went to Tin Fish to get some food and brought him back a burrito which sat on the counter for I think 2 hours before he could eat it, it was that packed with people. We will be back in January with more of the same but in the time being if you are looking for a solid cut or shave hit up Brent at the Lefty’s in PB. Thanks to Dan, Paul and Lisha from ASR for allowing us to pull this one off again.

ASR Feb 2010

ASR Feb 2010

February 5th, 2010 by Mike Quilliam

So another ASR trade show in the can. This one was a great one for us at Atwater, we had our booth at the Class trade show upstairs and on the main floor at ASR. Now throw into the mix a flippin Barbershop smack dab to the right of the entrance past the make up counter and across from the Bum camp. I will be posting up some pictures dedicated to just that little diddy in just a bit so keep on coming back and checking.

The Man The Mystery The Legend Mr Paul Tyson Brown showed up in full effect. He was going to do some live painting at the booth but we couldn’t find a big enough tent for PTB to work in so he said no

RVCA had a cool Leo Romero display going on outside Class

Paul Tyson Browns pieces displayed all around the entrance to Class

ASR

September 15th, 2009 by Mike Quilliam

So we just got back from a fun little vacation down in the San Diego area where we spent 4 glorious days in the San Diego convention center participating in both ASR and the Class trade shows.

On the first day of the show there was a garbage truck that was unloading a boat load of smoke into the San Diego Sky.

It filled the street and the SD police had to direct traffic away from the area.

Everybody around there was wearing some sort of mask, unfortunately for me I was on the way to ASR and left my mask back in the room.

Paul Dillman ASR’s Account Manger rocking his Atwater on day 1 of the show.

The Atwater ASR booth was basically a 8ft tall x 40 ft wide painting done by Sean Tully.

The Class portion of ASR was looking fly

The Blurr came out with the Atwater crew Thursday night and wooped it up.
