Devin Briggs has been all over the place the last few months. East Coast on tour with Vans, then back home and then over to Hawaii, then back again. He just sent over these pictures from last week of a little skate night. He said there’s more to come so keep coming back here to see when.
Mikey Moya sent me these photos a few weeks ago and I haven’t had a chance to get them up here until right now. When Mikey came into our office a few months back I told a few tricks that I wanted to see and whammy he produced one right here. Next we will see a F/S bluntslide so stay tuned in to see.

Atwater welcomes Mikey Moya to the Atwater skate team. This is the second recruit from East Coast Skateboard Manufacturer Instinct Skateboards. Were super hyped to have Mikey on board with us here and look forward to some late night photo shoots.
Its always a great day when you come across something that wasn’t meant to be skated but is perfect to like a little bump in the concrete or a tiny little bank to wall. Every once in a while you come across a little hidden gem and try to hide it from everybody but as skaters its the nature of the beast to share these spots with your friends. Dean and I found just that over 10 years ago on top of a mountain, well actually in between 2 hills but we did have to hike to get to it. We came across a ditch and not just your typical ditch but a snake ditch, nothing like palo alto but a snake ditch no the less and to solidify the term snake ditch we actually had rattle snakes fall into the ditch a few times which is a bit of a shock when your walking back to the top and there’s a 4 foot snake just hanging out shaking his tail around. Well that serpent fell down one hill and then proceeded to climb back up the other hill so we didn’t have to charm it which I was getting ready to do. We actually hadn’t been up to the snake in a couple years but decided to go check it out a few months back and let me tell you, we are the only ones that know about this cause it had about 2 tons of debris in it. We went back with a wheel barrel some shovels and brooms for about 3 weekends in a row to get it back to its natural beauty. We actually bought some quik crete and did a little fixing to some of wounds our poor snake has gotten over the years.
The purpose of this banter is to talk about the great hidden gems we come across every now and then just like Isidro here shredding something that wasn’t meant to be skated when it was created. Good times!
Take a look at these Kyle Oneill photos that hes been taking over the last couple months while in school in PA. I have a few more that I will be posting in a bit.
