So yesterday morning I went with Atwater photographer Nick Meistrell up to the South Bay to shoot. We’ll about 5 minutes from arriving Matt Meistrell called and informed us that there was a fog bank that rolled in and you couldn’t see anything. Nick has grown up in the South Bay so we decided to go grab a bite to eat while we waited for fogtown to go bye bye. Nick had been raving about Eat at Joes and their famous breakfast “The John Wayne”. The way he had described this work of art I was already in before we got to the place. The waitress came by and whammy we ordered up 2 John Waynes and a half a John Wayne for Randy Meistrell who had joined us for the meal ( he was the smart one of the bunch). Our meals came out in like 5 minutes and then it was go time. This bad boy is ( I’ll list in layers from bottom up) hash browns, 2 fried eggs, sausage patties and then some sort of Mexican sauce poured on top oh and it came with tortillas to be used as a spoon. It was a meal and I couldn’t even finish it. Nick seemed to finish his in record time but didn’t look too good afterwards and Randy had no problem with his but as I said he was the smart one that just ordered the half. Great place for morning food.

On Saturday night I attended a lovely art show at the Art Supply Warehouse in Westminster, CA. The theme of the show was Zombies in Orange County which meant that all the pieces that were featured had to have an Orange County theme to them which was pretty cool to see. The artist’s incorporated a variety of iconic OC landmarks including Disneyland, No Doubt, the lovely OC freeways and one of the artist’s actually included Octomom whom I dont know is from Orange County.

We are getting a lot of Love from ESM lately. The latest 20th anniversary mag had Tom Petriken and Barry Price and now here’s a shot of Atwaters Jake Kirschenbaum on the ESM website in the End to End section.

I thought I’d break up all these Cully pics since there were quite a bit but the more posts the better. Cully is still sending over shots everyday so keep coming back to see what he comes up with next.
