With their summer tour kicking off yesterday in Montana and going on for about 2 months the Slighlty Stoopid camp is in full effect. Matt from Silverback sent over these pics of some art that was done of Miles and Kyle and Miles just so happens to be wearing his favorite Atwater shirt “El Camino” The Causin Vapors tour is going to be huge so if you haven’t yet got your tickets then click here and get them cause they wont be there for long. Slightly Stoopid, Cypress Hill, Steel Pulse, The Expedables, Collie Buddz and New Kingston will all be appearing at some point during this tour.
As the national governing body for the sport of surfing in the USA, Surfing America strives to build programs that aid the development of America’s top surfers. The Surfing America USA Championships is the organization’s marquee event selecting the official USA Surf Team to compete internationally.
The 2011 PacSun USA Surf Team will be announced after the championships conclude on June 28 at a special event held at the Casino in San Clemente, CA. The team will be tasked with representing the United States at the 2011 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships next year.
Competitors in the Surfing American USA Championships consist of pre-qualified athletes from Surfing America’s three member organizations: National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA), Hawaii Surfing Association (HSA) and Western Surfing Association (WSA) as well as other top surfers from the East Coast and Texas Gulf.
Atwater Team riders Antoine Allen and Aaron Swanson are both in the Mens Finals starting at 8:00 am tomorrow morning.
