Atwaters Jamie Sterling will be on Fuel TV’s Daily Habit tomorrow talking shop with guest host Chris Cote. So If you don’t have Fuel TV already may I suggest getting it installed tonight so that your all ready to watch Jamie ham it up on the Habit tomorrow. If your out of school just laying around then your fine just make sure you wake up from your afternoon nap at around 2:25 so you can stretch and turn the tv on. If your like the rest of us and have to work then may I suggest a DVR player to record this sort of stuff, its a life saver. But hey if you don’t have a DVR don’t you worry because you can catch it again tomorrow night at 5:30 which still might be a little early which brings me back to the whole DVR conversation we were just having a moment ago.
Here are a few more pics from the adventure up to Carson on Friday to see Face To Face. I also through in a pic of the one the only Andrew WK who I got a chance to meet this day. Thanks to Danny, Trevor, Scott and Chad for doing what you do.
Our friend Just Matter has his new album out now and would like to let you the people take a listen to what hes been working on over the last few months. Some of you might remember Matter from the band MudLuscious who have played quite a few shows for the all mighty Atwater in the past. If you’d like to take a free download away from todays daily visit to the Atwater website then click here and walk away satisfied.
Last Friday we headed out to The Home Depot Center in Carson for the first leg of the Warped tour 2010. We went out there to shoot some photos of our boys in Face To Face while they are on tour over the next 2 months promoting their new album and putting a smile on many a persons face.
We got there in the nick of time with Face to Face going on in about 10 minutes and so we hustled. They killed it up there putting on an amazing show for about 45 minutes. If you are in the neighborhood of any of the next Warped tour stops I do suggest that you make it a point to get up front and center during the Face to Face set, you wont be disapointed.
This past Saturday Atwater was lucky enough to participate in a Beach Clean Up at Huntington St in Huntington Beach hosted by The Surfrider Foundation and Surfriders Seth and Jennifer Matson. We showed up to the beach around 8am to find a line up of people getting ready to clean the beach some were doing it for school credit but most were just coming down to show support and do what they can to keep our beaches clean.
We handed out t-shirts to the first 100 people that showed up and since the weather was a bit gloomy most of the people decided that layering was a good idea and we had ourselves an Atwater army across the beach all morning picking up cigarette butts, little pieces of plastic, water bottle caps and a variety of other things discarded from beach goers.
It was very eye opening talking to Seth about the trash that he see’s during these clean ups and one thing that he told me was that the caps on soda and water bottles are “one time use plastic” which means that if that cap is on the bottle it wont be recycled. I now make sure that I take the caps off my bottles before throwing them in the green can.
Thanks to everybody who showed up to participate in the beach clean up.
Mr Sage Hulls was on the Nutz show this morning on Transworld Surfs website. It seems appropriate that Sage is on a show called the Nutz show since what he does for a living is considered pretty nutz in general and if you doubt it just take a gander at the video below and you can see that Mr Hulls is a wild child.
