Atwater’s BBQ at UCSD
May 27th, 2010 by Mike QuilliamAbout a month ago I asked Albert (Atwaters So Cal Sales Monster) if he would like to throw a BBQ at some of our accounts in his territory. He started his outreach to some of his accounts and a bunch of people wanted to participate so we started to nail some dates down with the first one being at Outback Adventures on the campus of UCSD. With school coming to a close soon we got there when these kids were all scatter brained from studying all night and the thought of getting a free lunch was a delightful idea to them. It was a super fun time and we cooked about 200 hot dogs that were gone in about an hour with the help of all the flyer’s that were put up all over campus.
Thanks to Tom and Issac and the entire staff at Outback Adventures for helping out with this event. We will be back in the Fall.

Jamie Sterling getting ready for some very big surf

Tom Petriken living it up down south
May 21st, 2010 by Mike QuilliamTom has been all over the place lately, he and his dad were out in California a few weeks back for a week and then they flew back home to NJ and a few days later he boarded a plane for Mexico for a month with photographer Ryan Struck to get some surf and enjoy the culture. If you have been a loyal follower of our blog then you already know that Tom has been submitting his photos to us for the last couple months and they have been a great hit so when Tom was headed out I told him to make sure he sent over shots of everything so we can see what he sees and even though we aren’t down there at least we can feel like we are.
Is it just me or does Tom look like Shia LaBeouf right here?
Jamie Sterling takes 4th in the Big Wave Invitational in Chile

If you look at the wave it breaks right through and on this rock from what I can see although we will have to ask Jamie next time he is in the office. Jamie took 4th place in this contest with quite a few amazing competitors.
I Like you Star Parker Peterson
May 18th, 2010 by Mike QuilliamSo last week JoJo Whitmarsh had his movie premier right here in Newport to show case his new film “I Like You”. It was sold out at every showing and everybody I spoke to have said it was a great film and even better because they know the guys you made it. On Friday we had the chance to meet Parker Peterson the star of the movie, she came by the office to see where the magic is made.
